Earlier this year, my adorable niece Lucy was diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder called Pallister-Killian Syndrome (PKS). This means instead of two copies of the 12th chromosome, Lucy has four. My sister-in-law Paige helped draft the official document for the state of Utah that makes December 4th PKS Awareness Day! So on the 4th she hosted an ice cream social to spread awareness and celebrate our angel Lucy :).
